Work with me

I help senior safeguarding leads stay safe working with children and young people, online and face to face, through 1-1 support, training and guidance so you maintain your high standards and expert reputation within your sector.

We can work together in the following ways:

Join your peers in the Safeguarding Association and get access to me and ongoing development.

The Safeguarding Association Members Hub is the heart of our organisation. I bring together senior safeguarding leads who are busy, overstretched and time poor, to share ideas, best practice, keep up to date easily through online CPD and access to 1-1 support for difficult and often complex child protection situations

The Members Hub is for you if you want to feel part of a like-minded community, receive easy to access updates & training plus 1-1 conversations to help deal with crises, complex cases and overwhelm.

Open courses/webinars on specific subjects to assist you.

The Safeguarding Association Training Academy has a range of courses to suit your needs and will help ensure your work is of the highest standard and significantly reduce the adverse scrutiny of your work.

Our courses are for practitioners in the child protection arena. We have a range of open and bespoke in-house programmes available.

Working 1-1 we can map your way through a particular issue or process.

Supervision often focusses on cases rather than the emotional issues which arise form complex cases.

I support professionals by providing a safe space to grow their capacity for complex case analysis & to engage in the ongoing learning process by developing their skills and knowledge at a higher level.

“The scenarios are great to work through and discuss. I am now more confident to start dealing with safeguarding issues and support safeguarding team in the college. Thank you, much appreciated.”

“It was good to look at scenarios and apply practice, and to work with different groups and roles. I am going to ensure that I have documentation printed out which is easy to refer to.”

“I feel I am more ready to become part of the safeguarding team and be an active member. From start to finish, I have learnt a huge amount from everyone – thank you.”
