Supervision

In my legal career I have worked with parents, grandparents and children as well as social workers, team and senior managers, teachers & court experts to help them understand the complexities & nuances of the world of child protection. I founded the Safeguarding Association after realising that most of my work across the Local Authorities I worked, was guiding & supporting professionals on the variety of processes & helping them to understand the implications of their actions.

As a solicitor I had experienced a lack of emotional & development support. Any supervision focussed on cases & often a check to make sure I didn’t feel I was carrying too many. This was echoing within the wider child protection world too.

Professionals within the child protection world do amazing work. But there is a high turnover of staff & greater inquisition into decision making by the courts.

I support professionals by providing a safe space to grow their capacity for complex case analysis & to engage in the ongoing learning process by developing their skills and knowledge at a higher level.

Supervision can be 1-1 or via group sessions.

Supervision sessions use a reflective model and Kate is trained in Reflective Supervision approaches.

Supervision Packages are available per term or academic year and are priced per person. Please get in touch for organisation rates. There are savings for booking academic year supervision programmes.
