Working with parents/carers in conflict can be some of the most challenging work you do.
Managing expectations, understanding the causes of conflict and how to best navigate it are some of the areas covered in this one day course.
Aimed as Safeguarding leads and those working directly with parents, this course covers:
- Latest statistics on parental conflict
- Understanding causes of conflict
- Having conversations with those in conflict
- Tools to support you when working with parents/carers in conflict.
This is a highly interactive day which will give professionals skills and tools they can use immediately with families.
We will be using a virtual classroom. It will also be as interactive (if not more so) than being in an actual classroom together.
We’ll meet beforehand in our virtual learning space, where you can meet you other participants and get to know them ahead of the day. You can also talk to me, set your own learning objectives. You can start the learning process as soon as you join by watching the videos inside our learning platform. This will ensure you are ready and prepared to put your learning into practice on the day of our session.
